Sing your Heart-Song Today

‘Devote your time only to what is important now’ from Hallmark Movie - Daniel’s Daughter
The questions are:
What is important now?
How do we judge the value of importance?
How do we set our priorities?

Answering these questions honestly will allow your innermost desires and goals to come to the surface. When you take notice of what is important to YOU and only to YOU then you will have discovered your Heart-Song.

Each person has a Heart-Song, unique, known only to you and the ONE who created you. You were knitted together in your mother’s womb, cell by cell, tissue by tissue, tendons, ligaments, capillaries, arteries, veins, organs and on and on.. You are very special to someone, someone who took the time to make YOU, to give you a soul. You are one of a kind. There is only one of you. Is it any wonder that you have your own unique Heart-Song?
Putting first things first is the key to discovering what your soul yearns for. How do you nourish your soul? How do you let the stress of life melt away so that you can be free to express the music in your soul - your very own Heart-Song?

It is time to discover your Heart-Song. It is time to let it all go. You cannot wait until you retire. I have seen many co-workers pass away less than five years after they retired. They couldn’t wait to take the long trip-visit Europe, spend time with their grandchildren, read their favorite books, serve in the church, volunteer... They did not realize that they were running out of time. I have friends who never take the time to do something special, just for themselves because they always have something else to do. They have never spent money on something they wanted, something they really loved because they had to save for a rainy day, only to realize too late that the storm was so big that it washed away everything they saved.

Why do we wait so long to say, ‘I love you’?
Why do we let so many years pass before we say ‘I am sorry’?
Why do we let the treasures of our lives fall to the bottom of the ocean because we did not recognize their value?
Why do we put off the wonderful joys that can be enjoyed today for a future that we may never see?

Isn’t it time for us to start singing our Heart-Songs?
Isn’t it time to let the light shine into our souls?
Isn’t it time for us to smell the roses along the path less traveled?

It is time to let our minds smile.
It is time to let our souls shine.
It is the time to let the colors of our strength flash like fireworks, seen for a moment but lasting a lifetime.
It is time to let our hearts sing.

Sing your Heart-Song today!
